So you can’t compress it with your hands.First make sure your lovely lid is within the range that the lovely gas struts fit.Then open your lid up to your preferred angle, find the third of the lid and identify the upper and lower mounting points.Closing and opening your lid to check if it’s what you want.If it’s too powerful, you can move the upper mounting point closer to the hinge.If it’s too weak, you can move the upper mounting point in the opposite direction of the hinge!
